Partial Lunar eclipse photograph, taken by Michael Knowles on the 7th September 2006 from the Observatory grounds, using a hand-held Fuji digital camera and an 8-inch Meade LX-90 telescope.
This shot was taken on 7/09/06 at 21:45pm. Again I used my 2.0m Fuji A202 Camera with flash disarmed. I used the Meade 8 inch Telescope and 32mm Plossl eyepeice. Max Quality set at 2M-F. Brightness set at Auto Function. Hand held in front of 32mm eyepeice. Telescope Drive system not required.
